A Lucy Stern Community Center Wedding for Emma & Gerald
Emma & Gerald reached out to us almost 8 months ago and we were excited to finally play for them on Saturday, August 3rd! This couple was super awesome to talk to, and we just knew that we would have a blast providing DJ and Photo Booth Services.
All their closest friends and family gathered at the Lucy Stern Community Center. A handful showed up early to help transform the venue — They knocked it out in less than an hour. It was an intimate setting, and ready for guest arrival.
We started off the reception by introducing their bridal party with “24k Magic” by Bruno Mars. The couple themselves, rocked their entrance with “Hooked on a Feeling” by Blue Suede. They followed it up with an UNBELIEVABLE remake to to Ed Sheeran’s, “Thinking Out Loud”. It turns out, they spent months learning and practicing the dance moves — It was definitely one of the highlights of the night.
We had a photo montage during dinner, followed by a video presentation. After that, they had wonderful toasts by all of the bridesmaids and the best man. Shortly after, Emma danced with her father to “You Raised Me Up”, by Josh Groban, followed by Gerald’s dance to “God Only Knows”, by the Beach Boys, with his mom. From there we went straight to the Bouquet Toss with “Crazy In Love”, by Beyonce. Emma & Gerald took mic to thank everyone that attended. The dancing started and all their friends and family cut loose on the dance floor and in the Photo Booth.
The night finally came to an end to Journey’s, “Don’t Stop Believing”, with everyone on the dance floor wanting us to play more songs. Unfortunately we couldn’t — Our time was up.
Thank you Emma & Gerald — We had a blast!
